"Red Velvet"
Culinary flights of fancy at a Swiss airline's Christmas party.

So that we as an event caterer and ground crew of an airline can also guarantee culinary flights of fancy, not only the cooking turbines but also the decoration turbines were running at full speed. With the support of Neuerdings, we were able to implement the "Red Velvet" concept.
When the red curtain rose on the event hall in Hallle 622 in Zurich Oerlikon, the 400 guests were astonished to see "Christmas parcels" over a meter long and half a meter high on their tables.
After a few minutes, we revealed the secret: hidden under the gift boxes was a tavolata starter consisting of smoked trout, roast veal, grilled and marinated vegetables, lettuce salad with parmesan and fresh foccacia with fleur de sel.
The main courses, including gyoza, homemade pasta and a colorful veggie bowl, were freshly prepared in front of the guests at our cooking stations.
The chocolate dessert was served from airplane trolleys, just as it should be on a plane. The guests definitely felt like taking off: there was a great and exuberant atmosphere until the early hours of the morning.
