The XAVER Award 2014 was the premiere of BuEFFEKT, our reinterpretation of the buffet. Over the course of a year, we developed a new catering concept that takes the advantages of a buffet and mitigates the negative side effects. A long queue and your stomach growls relentlessly? We know this all too well. That's why we invented what we call "queue entertainment": The waiting guests are served small snacks from the Swiss Trolley. At the buffet itself, 3D effects and more structure are used to create an attractive food landscape that whets the appetite. The salad serving box is another highlight that makes it quick and easy to refill the dishes. And the live cooking stations with the anti-grill are of course just as important: Tender mascarpone sticks are prepared in front of the guests, garnished with colorful garnishes as the mood takes them. A culinary spectacle for all the senses.
